Walking Glasgow!

Helen and Elaine arrived in Glasgow, all while the king was being bestowed honors and jewels in another part of Scotland, Edinburgh.

They began their time in Glasgow walking Argyle Street, a street of much history! The food selections were numerous. The street had a real neighborhood feel. Elaine doesn't know, for sure, that her mother walked the street, but it is likely. Elaine and Helen really soaked it in!

Helen and Elaine ate a 'ramen lunch' at Ramen Dayo!

After watching the King receive the royal jewels of Scotland on t.v, the ladies decided to explore a local distillery!

Oddly enough, Elaine now actually can drink whiskey. These whiskeys were paired with chocolate, which will be an ongoing requirement for both Elaine and Helen when served whiskey!

Elaine and Helen learned about whiskey at the Clydeside Distillery. They tasted them with delicious chocolates! Thanks to Austin, he is a super tour guide!

Night brought pizza and song! Elaine and Helen ate a margarita pizza (Barolo Grill) and danced and sang at the Horseshoe Bar, both in Glasgow's city center.

Great quiet, yet friendly city!

The two are off again now after a restful Glasgow morning! Is the sun shining?
