Leaving & Liverpool

One last look around Helen’s home area brought the friends to Heron Drive and Wren Close. Helen's parents lived on Heron Drive, and it was the place Maddie came to visit so many times. Helen and Steve's first home was on Wren Close, overlooking a pretty field, one that is now a grazing ground for horses. These homes are located just a block away from each other in a charming neighborhood.

Then the two were off to honor Jackie.

Fay, Jackie's daughter, met Elaine and Helen at the Hare & Hound pub. This place is right near Jackie's home. It is a place of memories and warmth. Jackie is so missed. Fay brought Helen some photos and some jewelry that she had found while cleaning the house.

The moment Helen received them was so beautiful. It was like the past rushed to kiss the present. Jackie and Maddie were joined in a moment of kindness and reflection. Friends have a way of guiding us to our hearts.

Elaine and Helen stopped quickly to rearrange Helen’s bags at her other friend Jackie's home. Yes, there are two Jackies close to Helen's heart.

Elaine and Helen then made their way to Liverpool (after dropping the "Silver Ladybird" rental car).

Liverpool came to them on a sunny ☀️ evening.
