When Fiona, Elaine's cousin, recommended Knaresborough as a stop on their journey, they didn't realize what a lovely spot it would turn out to be. Knaresborough is a special place.
The castle grounds are kept so nicely & you can feel the history of the property The small village is thriving & the shops are really sweet.

One can imagine the many generations of people who passed the streets before Elaine & Helen did.

Elaine & Helen loved this little place.

Today was a busy day because they also went to Harrogate. It was really interesting for Elaine to see the vibrancy of the town and its history. The two enjoyed lunch at 'Betty's', an iconic destination for tea. The tea was great, but the friends had had better food!

Off turn to York!

Nice tapas as ‘Trio’. The rain continues, but showers aren’t drowning the traveler's determined plans!

Maddie winks.
