Goodbye Is Hard When Ties Are Strong

Helen tells how very difficult it was to say goodbye to her beautiful family in Wales today. She is now on to the next stage of her journey. Helen is seeing her dear friend Sue in the Manchester area and then staying overnight with Jackie and Hayden on Saturday before heading to Spain on Sunday.

Helen left with a heavy heart but told of an incredible journey and of some special time spent together.

This journey with Elaine throughout the United Kingdom, ending in Wales, was the perfect experience. It was one filled with lots of joy.

And in Ireland, Elaine and Joe made it to Belmullet!

The weather is a far cry from the sunny day they shared one day earlier. However, the two are making the best of setting foot on the soil that Joe's grandfather once walked on. The town is quite cute & surrounded by the sea and water. So, hence, it is a wet place today!

Elaine and Joe hired a car to take them here, so they are tied to a bus schedule tomorrow. They will make some decisions in the morning about what to explore!

The rain did not stop the curious two today! Ha! Well, perhaps it did a little bit, to be honest!
