Chester met the challenge!

Day #1 was amazing! Helen and Elaine met at the airport and traveled to Chester, a city seeped in history and interest. They stayed at the Queen Hotel, walked the walled city, and visited the fantastic

cathedral. Highlights of the day included a chat with a Chester native woman they met "on the wall", garden drinks with an English legend, Lorraine Chase, and a meet-up with Helen's friends Sue and Tom. As they continue the dedication of this to Jackie, Jean, and Maddie there were nods everywhere today (including sand, candles, and a boat named "Jackie").
