Well, a place called Galway was a bit of a surprise for Elaine and Joe! The town is bustling this week (is it always?) due to an International Arts Festival. Yet, to Elaine and Joe, it seems like a very busy place, no matter what the occasion.

Galway is a vibrant and bustling, wonderful place, but beware, as it is hectic and loud!

Elaine and Joe did find a nice, quiet place to walk along. It is called Nimmo's Pier, and it has a lovely, long walking trail on the water.

The day brought Elaine and Joe to the very lively "Arts" Festival and then to a nice dinner at a restaurant recommended by a Dublin cab driver, Martine's (great muscles in lemon grass sauce).

Helen had a great day too! This was a good weather day all across the pond!

So here is the update from North Wales,

Helen and some of her family made a trip to Parys Mountain, which is an old copper mine. Now it is a place that can be walked/hiked with amazing views and colors. Then the group headed to lunch, enjoying more lovely views.

The family stopped at a pier by the beach where there is a shipwreck, but they couldn’t get too close, as the tide had just gone out. The stranded boat at Dulas Bay is somewhat of a mystery, but it is believed to be the Manx Rose, a vessel built in Ireland. They don't know how long it’s been there, even a bit longer than Kevin, Helen's brother, has been in Wales, at least.

Ben has been practicing with the new drone that he has named Dora, as in Dora!

The sunshine brought out the adventurer in everyone today!
